Extracting statistics data for a Java applications quality analysis program (C++, STL, GNU/Linux). PhD students at the Université du Littoral designed the Ptolemais project which calculates software metrics from sources written in the Java language. To a certain extent, these metrics stand for coding quality. Our job was to create a module that can extract all metrics from a XML file (using the libxml++ API), and store these values in a hierarchically organised C++ class model, which in turn could be used to produce charts efficiently. |
